The Annenberg Space for Photography

I went on a quick field trip with my afternoon/evening photography class yesterday to the beautiful Annenberg Space for Photography. This space is filled with fantastic lighting, clean architecture, and the location is just visually stunning. There was no photography allowed in the actual exhibit due to copyright reasons so I managed to snag some photos of the area outside. It's quite interesting because the interior design is influenced by the mechanics of a camera and it's lens. On their website it explains, "The central, circular digital gallery is contained within the square building to create an architectural metaphor for a convex lens. Even the ceiling features a striking, iris-like design that is reminiscent of the aperture of a lens."Overall, it was a fun element of this long long week. Come along friends.
